This delicious mousse couldn’t be easier and faster to make, not to mention delicious!

For this recipe I used Swerve instead of powdered sugar. In the past I have used maple syrup and agave nectar, and both worked well. The only thing I had to add was a teaspoon xantham gum because the consistency was a bit watery to my taste.

It is so easy to make!

I was skeptical about this recipe at first. How can only five ingredients blended together make such a decadent dessert?! I thought it was too good to be true… In less than ten minutes the whole process was done! And though it needs to stay in the refrigerator to get chilled, in a couple of hours it is perfect to be served.

I have made this delicious peanut butter and chocolate mousse so many times; it is my to-go recipe as it is tasty, looks amazing, it is effortless to make, and EVERYONE loves it!

High-Protein and Delicious!!

This mousse is one of my favorite pre or post workout snacks because it is high in protein, and I can make it with xylitol instead of sugar. It tastes just as great with less calories.

I love this recipe and made it several times. It is so smooth and creamy! With this same recipe you can also make popsicles. I added some extra clumps of my favorite homemade peanut butter and chocolate chips. So good!

Ingredients

1 block (12 or 18 oz) silken tofu

1/3 cup smooth peanut butter

1/3 cup confectioner’s sugar (I used Swerve)

4 tablespoons chopped roasted peanuts

4 tablespoons shaved vegan dark chocolate

vegan whip cream (optional)

Instructions

Using a blender or food processor, puree all ingredients until smooth.

Divide among 4 glasses, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until set, at least 30 minutes.

Top with chopped peanuts, whip cream and shaved chocolate.

Vegan Chocolate and Peanut Butter Mousse

Servings 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 block 12 or 18 oz silken tofu
  • 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup confectioner's sugar I used Swerve
  • 4 tablespoons chopped roasted peanuts
  • 4 tablespoons shaved vegan dark chocolate
  • vegan whip cream optional
